imply put, large diameter fibers derive from low-quality wool which itches. Small diameter derive from high-quality wool which does not itch. In fact, small diameter fibers will feel extremely soft against the skin.
Flying Cross uses only the highest quality of smaller micron wool to manufacture all of its wool uniform products. Our wool is also worsted which gives it a high level of durability for longer wear and less pilling.
